Delete your Paww account.

Paww is in development. If you have an account in a development or released version of the Paww app, you can use either method below to request its deletion.

Request deletion by email

You do not need to open or reinstall the app to make a request.

1. Email privacy@heypaww.com with the subject Paww account deletion.
2. Tell us that you want your Paww account and associated data deleted. Include the email address associated with your Paww account, including your Apple private relay address if you used Hide My Email.
3. We may need to verify that the account belongs to you before processing the request. Never send your password, sign-in code, or recovery code.

If you cannot access your account email, tell us in your request so we can help verify ownership. If you are the primary owner of a shared dog profile, see the shared-profile instructions below.

Delete your account in the app

1. Sign in to Paww and open Your profile.
2. Choose Delete account, read the confirmation, and confirm deletion.
3. If asked, sign out and sign in again, then return to Delete account.

Deletion is permanent. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete your account.

Shared dog profiles

If you are the primary owner of a dog profile shared with other people, transfer primary ownership to another owner from that dog's People screen before deleting your account. If you cannot do this, explain the issue in your deletion request.

Shared dog profiles and their care records remain available to their other members. Deleting your account removes your identity link from achievement completion records; deleting the dog removes its progress and badges.

What is deleted and what may remain

Account deletion removes your account, sign-in sessions, private preferences and notifications, and any unshared dog profiles you still own. Your personal and deleted dog-profile photos are queued for deletion. Paww attempts photo cleanup immediately and retries pending deletions daily. Cached copies may remain briefly, and copies already downloaded by someone else cannot be removed by Paww.

Shared dog profiles and their care history remain with their other members, as described above. Routine hosting and service-provider logs and backups may remain under those providers' retention schedules. This page does not promise a fixed retention period for those records.

Your separately requested Paww email subscription is not removed by app-account deletion. Use the unsubscribe link in a Paww email, or include a separate request to remove your subscription in your message.
